Celebration is a unique, learn-by-doing program for youth-serving nonprofit organizations in New York City. The Program provides the opportunity and support to learn and apply effective fundraising and marketing techniques. Upon graduation from Celebration, organizations remain part of the Youth, I.N.C. network and are able to participate in select programs.
Participating organizations receive individualized coaching and attend monthly workshops on topics such as expanding donor networks, leveraging corporate support, donor cultivation, effective fundraising skills, and best practices in board governance.
The Program culminates in an annual fall fundraising event, produced and paid for by Youth, I.N.C. Partner nonprofits apply the techniques and skills learned throughout the year to attract new donors and raise unrestricted funds.
The Celebration program has empowered over 80 youth organizations to raise over $12.5 million for their outstanding programs.
Nonprofits participating in the Celebration program receive:
- Workshops designed to help nonprofits develop effective fundraising strategies
- Consultations with nonprofit staff and board members to help structure fundraising campaigns
- Assistance with the pursuit and selection of fundraising leadership
- Samples of effective marketing materials
- Event production materials and guidelines
- Ongoing support throughout the fundraising process
- Tickets to the annual gala Celebration event
- Formal event invitations to send to sponsors and a full-page profile in the Celebration program journal
