Futures and Options Impact Story
Futures and Options (FAO) joined the Youth, I.N.C. Partner Network in 2008 and was an immediate success story, exceeding their initial fundraising goal by over 200 percent. After their first year in the program, Executive Director Patty Machir said:
We are absolutely thrilled to have been admitted to the Youth, I.N.C. program this year, not only because it will help us raise the funds we need to enhance our sustainability and build our capacity, but because we are receiving so many added benefits along the way. The training, support, and consulting services, would not be available to us without Youth, I.N.C. It’s a brilliant concept that is exponentially making a positive and enduring difference for so many of the children in our city. Futures and Options is looking forward to “planning for success” with Youth, I.N.C. this year and taking our program to the next level. We are truly appreciative of the efforts their team puts in to make that happen!
FAO has reached new levels during its partnership with Youth, I.N.C. over the past two years. The organization has diversified and increased its revenue stream by 75 percent and has been awarded two Fund of Funds grants to hire a much-needed Development Associate as well as a Corporate Partnership Manager. In addition, Youth, I.N.C. has recruited five new board members for FAO, who are now some of the organization’s top fundraisers, leaders, and advocates.
FAO graduated from the Celebration Program in 2010 and plans to be a successful Youth, I.N.C. alumni partner.
