Over 2,000 people showed their support at the 2007 A Celebration to Benefit New York Kids event on November 6th. Youth, I.N.C. and its 22 outstanding nonprofit partners joined together to celebrate New York City’s youth for a night filled with excitement and soul. Altogether, it was a record-breaking year — over $2.5 million was raised for underserved youth in NYC. The evening’s event honored Daniel L. Doctoroff, Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Rebuilding for the City of New York, and featured Tony Award winner and Broadway’s original Dreamgirl, Jennifer Holliday.

Celebration Concept: Youth, I.N.C.'s Celebration program empowers its nonprofit network by providing a yearlong fundraising and marketing training program that culminates in a gala event: A Celebration to Benefit New York Kids. By helping build the capacity of each partner organization, Youth, I.N.C. is most effective by helping nonprofits help themselves. Additionally, Youth, I.N.C. manages and finances all aspects of the Celebration event which allows the participating nonprofit organizations to retain more money for their programs.
