Trail Blazers has continued to advance equitable access to outdoor opportunities for young people that face significant barriers to accessing greenspaces. Through its programming and scholarship fund, Trail Blazers makes it possible for all young people to step into the world equipped with essential social-emotional life-skills and values that promote care for self, others, community, and the environment.
For 15 years, Youth INC has partnered with Trail Blazers to support the growth and development of the organization and the 1,800 young people they serve. Trail Blazers will be recognized as the Partner in Impact at Youth INC’s 28th Annual Celebration Gala in honor of their influential efforts.

Mission: “Committed to after-school education and achievement for all New York City youth, Roads to Success promotes academic, personal and professional development through out-of-school-time programs built on a philosophy of self-discovery. [They] create and sustain an environment where young people find their identity, build their independence and practice generosity in their communities.”
Fun Fact: Roads to Success’s current ED Lisa Recio is a former participant in the organization’s programs.
YI Relationship: Roads to Success has been a part of Youth INC’s partner network since 2016. Over the past 5 years, they have participated in Board Advancement (2020) Celebration (2016-19), Metrics (2017), Legacy Leadership Program (2018-19), and BridgeFund (2019). They also participated in MS INC cycles 11 and 15.
