10th Annual Chips for Change a Success

May 29, 2018

This year’s 10th Annual Chips for Change, hosted by our Young Professionals Board, held an engaging fundraising event on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Yale Club of New York City. Surpassing our 2018 fundraising goal and last year’s success by more than 10%, the event raised funds to help support our mission: to empower our nonprofit partners to transform the experiences of more than 200,000 youth in NYC.

The casino-style, gaming evening, featured plentiful food and beverage, a DJ entertainer, raffles, and a highly successful silent auction. More than 200 guests mingled with VIPs and members of Youth INC’s Young Professionals and National Boards while playing games to raise funds for Youth INC’s programs.

Occurring each spring, Chips for Change provides a vehicle for rising corporate leaders to fundraise for Youth INC and its 80 nonprofit partners.  The 2018 event honored Young Professional Board Member, Joe Gasparro, Vice President, Credit Suisse who has led the Young Professional Board to new heights through his leadership and commitment.

Youth INC is a network of 80+ of the best youth development nonprofits in New York City. We provide our nonprofit partners with the coaching, capital, and connections required to achieve sustainable growth and maximum impact. Our nonprofit partners collectively champion over 250,000 young people each year. The Aspen Institute estimates that investing in the Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) of young people generates an 11x return. This measure means Youth INC's $110 million raised since inception has yielded over $1B in impact.
